STAFF & STUDENTS:  Hy-Vee will be offering on-site flu shots at CHATFIELD SCHOOLS on THURSDAY OCTOBER 26.  Pre-registration is required (DUE TODAY by NOON) and forms are in the front office. Hy-Vee Pharmacy will bill your insurance for the vaccine.

SADD Red Ribbon committee (only) meeting TODAY, both lunches in the large group room.  This does NOT include all SADD members!

Congratulations to the Jr. High Knowledge Bowl teams on competing at their first meet!  The results are as follows: Chatfield Team 1 – 4th place, Team 2 – 12th place, Team 3 – 8th place, Team 4 – 24th place, Team 5 – 23rd place, and Team 6- 26th place.  There were 28 teams challenging each other.   

Any student in grades 9-12 who would like to participate in this year's SCIENCE FAIR with either a project, paper, or both is encouraged to meet with Mrs. Gathje TODAY.​

Come celebrate Homecoming at the GOPHER FEST TODAY after school until 5:30PM. Many activities on the Burr Oak Street side of school by softball fields, green house area.  (If to rainy we will move the activities, we can into the multipurpose room.)  Activities include beanbags, bocce ball, spike ball, cakewalk, face painting, wagon rides, fishing, food and fun!

If you are having your picture retaken, please remember to bring your original package back.

All students in grades 7-11 MUST have their picture taken.  If you did not have your picture taken prior to school starting, you must come down to the multipurpose room when your grade is called.  If you want to order picture, there are order forms in the office.

Seniors- This is optional for you.  You can also use this option for your senior pictures.   Any new student that is a senior must also have their picture taken for their school ID.

 

Any student or adult interested in traveling to Alaska this summer should attend an informational meeting at 6 p.m. TONIGHT in Miss Doyle's room.  The meeting will take 20 minutes.

 

Due to a ballot error, the seniors will be re-voting for homecoming court during SST TODAY (Thursday). Students must be present in SST to vote. PSEO students can see Mrs. Conway by the end of the day on Thursday to vote via absentee ballot.

All students in grades 7-11 MUST have their picture taken.  If you did not have your picture taken prior to school starting, you must come down to the multipurpose room when your grade is called.  If you want to order picture, there are order forms in the office.

Seniors- This is optional for you.  You can also use this option for your senior pictures.   Any new student that is a senior must also have their picture taken for their school ID.


Any student or adult interested in traveling to Alaska this summer should attend an informational meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 28th in Miss Doyle's room.  The meeting will take 20 minutes.

Seniors and Juniors! You are invited to the National College Fair next Wednesday, September 27th. There are representatives from hundreds of colleges there! No cost, except bringing your own lunch or money for lunch. The first 20 students to sign up and bring back their signed permission slips to the counseling office will be able to attend. Community Education is offering another session of "Women's Self-Defense" with Yennie Martial Arts.  On Wed October 4th from 6-8:30 p.m.  This is a class for women (age 13 and older) taught by a female instructor.  Submit registration fee of $3 to Community Education by 12:00 noon on Wed Sept 27.  Pay $15 to the instructor the night of the class.

FALL DRIVER EDUCATION REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING OCTOBER 2 IN THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION OFFICE. Fall Driver Education will meet at the high school Oct 27-Nov 2 & Nov 6-10 weekdays from 3:15-6:15pm(10 mandatory 3-hour sessions)

It is pizza order time. All seniors going on the class trip to Florida, interested in selling Huey's pizzas should pick up an order form on Mrs. Lowrey's desk. The sale ends on September 20, which gives you two weeks to sell. This is our final fund raising to help fund your way to our class trip.
